Breeding Not Working? Fix Checklist

If breeding fails in Palworld, check these items in order before changing parent pairs.

1. Breeding Farm setup

Confirm the Breeding Farm is built, powered, and both parent slots are filled with compatible Pals.

2. Cake supply

The feed box must have cake. Empty cake stops the breeding process even when parents are assigned.

3. Valid parent pair

Use our calculator to verify the pair can produce your target child. Invalid pairs waste time.

4. Incubator space

Collect eggs and place them in an incubator. Full inventory or missing incubator delays progress.

5. Pal conditions

Sick, starving, or depressed Pals may block breeding—heal and feed parents first.

Still stuck? Compare routes on the Anubis guide or your target Pal page.
